What is The Eternal?+
The Eternal is a private digital legacy platform. You capture your life's lessons, decisions, and guidance in your own words, and share them with the people you love — now, on a date you choose, or after you're gone. Your wisdom stays with them, forever.
Is this an AI clone or a grief bot?+
No. The Eternal never simulates you or invents words on your behalf. When a loved one asks a question, the answer is drawn only from what you actually wrote — cited back to your own entries. If you never wrote about something, it says so.
Who can see what I write?+
No one, until you decide. Everything is private by default. You choose exactly which person receives each entry, and when — immediately, on a future date, or only after you're gone.
What happens to my words if The Eternal shuts down?+
They're yours. You can export everything you've written at any time, in open formats. A promise of "forever" has to be able to outlive us — that principle guides how we build.
When does it launch?+
We're building The Eternal now. Waitlist members get access first, in the order they joined — and we'll write to you the moment your invitation is ready.
